Great comments everyone and thanks. The important thing is that we really want this to be inclusive. I'll post more later but I've just got in after racing down the A689/A19/A1/M18/M1/A610/A52!

As I said today. We have done no more than facilitate the start of this thing but early signs are positive. There is so much work to do on this and WE WILL have a say in the running of this football club one way or another.

To start with, we've set up a Facebook group so there is no inter board rivalry on this project. Get yerself on there and join if you feel able to.

Interesting indeed considering it could be interpreted as them supporting the potential removal of their previous employers.
The more high profile names involved the better. Gigs such as the playoff reunion are ideal fundraisers.

Sounds like a good start. Well done on getting the ball rolling at last. Great idea to get Quaker Pete involved too. This is where the hard work starts!

Does his help come with the caveat of eternal gloating rights for being the saviour of pools?

To be fair, he's still a horrible hated Loid and from the dregs of society, but one with some sense and knowledge.
