His hold up play and control on a different level to Harewood.

I'd swap Harewood, Morgan, Parnaby and any other dead wood just for him. He is something totally different, scored plenty of goals without being prolific and would probably good for working with youngsters on how to build up strength. I think he is the player we wanted Harewood to be and on today's performance I think Bird was the type of player we wanted Howard to be and not the old plank he was

Must have been terrible at Seaton though, everytime he got the ball the tide must have gone out!
When I saw him I just couldn't help but think of star wars "that's no moon “

Fair play to him though, to use the old cliché, for a big lad he was tidy on the ball.

13st 7lb according to their official site - new scales required surely?

I don't think I've ever seen a professional footballer that size - makes Luscombe look like Twiggy. But as said above, we could do with Harewood & Morgan holding up the ball that well

Haddaway and shite man...I was 19stone 18 months ago...he's twenty Clem at least. Bob Newton was 14 and a half Clem during his 1970s Pools peak.

She was a big big lass. I wouldn't want to be her toilet seat.

You bunch of bastards, that's our lass! She's really upset with you lot for saying all these nasty things about her, she's never stopped crying and has been off her food all day.

She was only running across the pitch cos she was late for her break, someone told her there was some hot dogs left in the Mill House food kiosk.

Shame on you all!
