Do you think the pressure is off the players to win games and should Ronnie try a whole new system and replace a few of the players and bring others in i.e.

Harewood, Austin, Franks, Morgan out and bring in Connor Smith, Bird, Walker, Jones ( both ) ?????? sctatchinghead

We are on a hiding to nothing now so why not give it a go.

I am not even going to try and predict tomorrows score as I have given up all hope of staying up I just want to see some commitment, effort and dare I say entertainment and a win would be very nice also,

well seen as last game harewood didn't play and bird wasn't signed....bit harsh saying should try a new system.

Also your suggestions are identical positions so wouldn't class it as a new system.

For what it is worth, it's looking dire but the aim has to be 9 points or minimum of 7 in this next week. imagine it will be around 4/5 points at worst the gap if this happened.

Ronnies saying he wants 7 pts from next 3 games.
For me it has to be 3 wins just to keep our slim hopes alive.

I'd be delighted with 7 points and other results going our way. In fact I'd be ecstatic about 7 points regardless of other results.

7 points would get us within striking distance of other teams as it stands to reason that one or two of the teams above won't pick up many points in those three games.

I'd snap your hand off for 7 out of 9.

I'd snap your hand off for three out of fucking nine.

Straw clutching I'm afraid, even if the new Bird notched a hat-trick on his debut tomorrow the clueless midfield and spineless, inept defence would concede at least as many.

I'd imagine Ronnie is in for a bonus if he keeps us up, so can't really see him changing style until we're mathematically down.

Would take 6 points now, it's a tough week but we have to keep the season at lease semi alive. If we can somehow get to the last 6 games with only a 3 point gap (4 with goal difference) then it's on. I don't think Moore and soe of the players have given up yet even if a lot of supporters have.....

There's a slim chance of us getting 3 points from 3 games nevermind 7

Bollocks! my hopes have been rekindled after today,s results. Tuesday could make or break the season again! Todays results have made what looks like a 5 horse race, Can we do it !!

And !! next Saturday, at home to Burton could be interesting they have started a shit run of losing games.

Also got to say the crowd today for the last 20 minutes were the best I have heard since Morecombe last year, keep it up, it was brilliant!! rolf

It's 11 v 11. Lets not giver up. It's too important to give up. Ronnie Moore hasn't given up ad neither have the players - lets get that lad from Scunny till the end of the season. Hopefully we can somehow get a few results together.

During the supposed depressig days of mid table mediocrity in league one you got the impression that some fans were crying out for this sort of scenario of struggle and Pools against the world. We aren't playing like a bottom of the table team, we can do it - NSD....
