Hello Poolies!

I just wanted to drop you all a line to say good luck in your battle to stay in the league. I can imagine how depressing your current plight is and I really hope you can pull off the great escape. Hartlepool have always been one of my favourite clubs - I think us and you have quite a few similarities so I for one would be very sad to see you out of the league (however temporarily). I will be cheering you on - sincerely.

Incidentally how is Nicky Featherstone getting on? C'mon you Pool!!!

Thanks, Featherstone in reserves at moment, nice player but we need steel and grit from our midfielders and the ability to knack someone if it calls for it!

Hi there - I was down your way recently on my way to Cornwall and called into Watch Walsall v Port vale; I thought you were unlucky to be beaten 0-1 and it was a very entertaining game . Wasn't Vales centre back (nos 33- bout 6'6 -6'8) the most awkward, petulant, disruptive defender you've ever seen play? Not much got past him and he was totally and unashamedly proud of his cynical performance - - we could do with a couple of defenders like him- - - takes one for the team when necessary!

It's funny how some clubs develop an empathy towards each other and so it is with Pools and Walsall. Thanks mate and good luck to you lot too.

Thanks Mr Soton, always found West Midlanders in general to be some of the nicest and friendliest people in the country. It's nice to know we'll be missed but it's not much of a consolation - and it's come on you POOLS.

P.S. lend us a fiver!

Port Vale, now there is a team I wouldn't mind slipping away. The referee had a lot to do with that particular defeat! Their whole footballing philosophy is somewhat rough and hoof (old school).

 Ha!! I didn't get the reference at first, mostly because I can't believe I've made that mistake - back to school.

Come on you Pools!
