Just 13 years ago (in 2002) Pools stuffed Swansea 7-1 at the Vic whilst AFC Wimbledon were holding trials on Wimbledon Common (attended by 230 local players) as they prepared to relaunch themselves in the Combined Counties League. Turn the clock forward 13 years. Swansea beat Man United to go 9th in the Premier League whilst AFC Wimbledon beat promotion chasing Luton Town to cement a mid table position in league 2.

I suppose this goes to show how fortunes can change quite quickly for some clubs so regardless what happens to Pools this season there may still be a bright future - we might just have to wait a year or two for it to happen!

Not long before that stockport just missed out on a play off place in the championship and look where they are now.
The way i see it as long as ior are at pools we will most probably be joining them in conference north.

And yet this meeting in the corner flag some posters have said its not an anti-ior agenda.
The reason this meeting has come about is down to ior continueing to demise our club year on year.

Iam not knocking the meeting hopefully it could be of some good for the future of pools.its looking more likely the fans are going to have to save the club as i cant see another harold hornsey saving the club this time around!

The very reason the meeting is needed is because the club is in trouble. I think most sensible people will realise that it's because of IOR.

Like it or not, if we are to takeover the club we have to deal with IOR. Even though the majority of us are anti-IOR, if at some point we are position to try and broker a deal we'll need talk to them, therefore we'll need to bite our tongues for a bit. This doesn't mean everyone at the meeting is pro-IOR.

I wont attend. Not whilst there is a chance that KH/RG might stay involved.
