It is a joke like! For Bury next week I'm paying £28. £15 for ticket and £13 on the bus. Pools do really need to have a look at the match day ticket prices. Like a buy one get one free scheme or 1 adult ticket and 2 kids go free etc.

I must admit Bury next week is a game I will probably be heading to - buoyed by the £15 to get in. I'd rather give Bury £15 than IOR one single penny.

Bury is a piece of piss to get in to for a child. Went last season and most folk used the end turnstile and paid £10. Im talking 50yo blokes here by the way. They just took the money and asked no questions. Couldn't beleive it

As for green and hodcroft words fail me.

Loughlin is supposed to be a pools fan but his balls couldn't be further into those twos pockets. It's about time he put the fans 1st and told it exactly as it is . Like joe allon did when he did his article a while back

Stoddart has to write anything that Loughlin doesn't dare.

Club sold 3000 ST's so on the base of today's crowd there's a little over 300 if that as PATG given they had around 72 up. If it was £10-15 then might be a few more turn up but doubt KH or RG are looking at reduced prices to a small degree could actually pull a few more through the gate & boost the cash!

Today wasn,t worth 25 pence, never mind 25 quid. Something needs to be done about the prices.

It beggars belief that some fans out there actually want pools to charge more. Unbelievable.

You should want it as cheap as fook, to get as many Of us in as possible.

Thick twats

He probably wants sky to increase they're TV sports package price as it will mean clubs can pay even higher wage packets to attract the best players and create a more entertaining league.

Common sense.......

£10 £5 attracts more people than £20/£25 £10/£15

Looking at recent gates it's a good 400-500 more at least. So immediately the club is in profit. Then you have all these people in the ground buying things, beer, pop, hot drinks, food, programmes, lottery etc.

The club is a pr nightmare. They don't announce new players anymore claiming they didn't want to let opponents know, then bring him on for 15 minutes at the end. Well that was a cracking trick. There is zero thought put into the club on how to make it better. I'm not just talking match day I'm talking about the full week/month/season.

You see clubs up and down the country doing things like selling cheap scarfs. No detail on them just plain blue and white and get the fans to swing them round and create an atmosphere. Within a few games everyone has 1 and the clubs reap the profit. Why the club has never opened a club shop in the town centre is again a mistake. Over the years this would have made a profit. I know these days the place is on the slide but this hasn't always been the case.

Retro shirts are popular these days but do pools so this?? Old promotion shirts from 91 and the late 60s would make profit. Instead we bring DVDs out of home wins against Crewe. Seriously who comes up with the ideas.

You see kids wandering around in premiership shirts but what do pools do to get these kids into the club. Some cluvs have dad/lad packages for matches. The vic needs to become a fortress these closing games of the biggest season of our lives. We need to get as many people in as possible. Attracting kids should be considered the future but we don't think like that.

Ceo of the year yet the he isn't capable if seeing what's infront of his eyes. Potential for profit is there but greed over shadows this. This isn't about putting the fans 1st this is about saving the club because if we go down I don't see us coming back up. Profit should mean improvement in the team and that's crucial.

So Mr ceo get your finger out your arse and start making some positive decisions to save our club and keep us up. Reducing tickets is a start but there's way more that can be done.

Surely you are taking the piss, its not about income its about filling the ground, get the fans to be the 12th man.

If the admission price was sensible the income would probably be higher as once people are in the ground they spend money. You'd be amazed how many away fans swerve Pools because of the £25 thing.

Not sure who this Nord fella is..

There is lads i know would turn up if it was £10, who don't as its £20/25. Whilst not many, i bet we all know at least someone who doesnt go, and who would if it was cheaper.
Even doing kids for a quid, give tickets away to schools, instead of empty seats fill the place out, its not difficult.

You don't need to be a accountant to work out, and extra 1000 on the gate is going to generate more sales inside the ground of food/drinks etc

Tweeted the club last night to say something needs to be done with the ticket prices. Had Scott Fenwick favorite it so even a player wants it to happen.

No doubt TMH (whatever you may think of them) would have kept the reduced ticket price initiative going but not only that I am told that the money was there to BUY players as opposed to loan them so make of that what you will and the current lack of investment.

Oh do please stop with the negativity. Ken and Russ have saved us from evil tyrants. They cant man the doors as well.

People have all week to get tickets, so you cant blame the club.

People should go down during work and but tickets for 10 games in advance to save having to go too often or queue.

Just help the club out, and celebrate the success, and the saviours

Local Team - Hull City - Cat C prices mean I can take the family for £42.... (2 adults,2 kids)

Pools would be looking at over £70.. then the price of travel

On the subject of attendances, two caught my eye last Tuesday night in our division.....Morecambe 1156, and Accrington 1065. How do they survive on crowds like that?

Does RG and other salaries appear on the statements for shareholders each year. How much do we recon Russ is on £50k a year?

I'd have thought that a chief executive of a company with the turnover of Pools would be on more than 50K. To an accountant, for instance, working for a decent firm 50K would be a derisory salary.

I said it as a bottom line salary whatever it is over that is a crime. What exactly has he done or brought to pools in his tenure?

I didn't say he was worth more (or even 50K), only that he's likely to be on more, probably much more. Shit, I've not got an important job, and I'm on more than than.

Surely a sarcastic question only.

He,s on to much for what he contributes to the club.
No wonder a few lifelong fans who come on here and used to come on here have walked aeay from pools until proper owners come in who dont take the piss .

They not being disloyal they just had enough.

IOR OUT

I wonder how much real, actual outside investment has been attracted to the club by the CEO during his tenure? We had IOR companies sponsoring the shirts etc year on year.

If a CEO is not being measured on revenue generation how is he being measured. Putting it in business terms the product is terrible, there are no efforts whatsoever to build he brand by engaging the customer with communication and the whole thing is on a downward spiral. Based on my understanding the CEO claims no decision making powers regarding the product itself without the chairman ratifying.

If the role as CEO at pools involved spending the income gifted by the owners for a number of years then basically cost cutting for self efficiency and entertaining guests on a match day then it's money for old rope.
