Far from me to take sides but look at it this way ;

TMH hired Moore - a good decision.

TMH reduced ticket prices - another good decision

TMH sanctioned the signings of Tshibola, Bingham and Harrison - another set of good decisions

TMH made it known they wanted to develop relationships with supporters but were unable to put this into operation until the takeover was completed. Its already been reported that they were asked to stay away until the takeover was complete so it is hardly their fault that there was a lack of communication with the supporters with the old regime calling the shots. But in any event the intentions were there - another good decision.

However Im being told that the reason that it didn't go ahead was not because of TMH at all - they had got the League approval to proceed and all the finances were in order. Im told that the delay was because they were waiting for the Football League to sanction a demand from IOR to take a percentage of future transfers. That would seem to make sense because if TMH had got approval from the League then there must have been something that needed clarification and Im reliably informed that's what was it. Not sure on the logic of allowing IOR to have a percentage of future transfers if its right but can understand where IOR are coming from on that one given how much they put into Pools - but if it meant IOR were out of the picture then another good decision by TMH.

Im also told that TMH had secured a massive sponsorship deal for the club with a worldwide company which would have been used to move the club forward on and off the field but due to the collapse of the takeover this has been withdrawn. So that's a big loss to replace and not sure that Russ would be able to secure such a deal if its as big as what Im told it was. TMH clearly had good intentions and were making good decisions for the club but sadly we will not see the benefit of it now with the exception of their appointment of Ronnie as Manager.

Not being cynical but I think TMH seemed to have been thinking outside the box and could have actually been helpful to us.

IOR would have surely sanctioned the signings as TMH were never in charge??

Interesting comments but for obvious reasons we will never know. So without backup the comments are pointless.

All I would say is if that's the only stumbling block why kill the full deal? IOR want shot TMH wanted to buy surely they could have sorted it? are the egos that big or is there more to it? Like has been said hundreds of times already we will more than likely never be told! 1st post so no doubt be told to fuck off

If all that's true then there are plenty of clubs looking for such an owner and we will soon enough.

Everyone seems to have a reliable source for all this info on what happened or didn't happen but no one will ever reveille who theses sources are so how can they be taken as credible

Not sure what the draw was with Pools.

I'd guess much like myself people don't want to burn bridges with the people the information comes from.

People get told stuff and are trusted with it so why break someones trust.

From what I've been told IOR/Russ may not be Saints but may have just saved us from much worse trouble. I take it at face value and guess we will never know now.

And that's from two different sources for what its worth.
