I don't think thats fair. Jeff wants the club to be successful and he is as able to be taken in as any of us.

I cant wait for him to reappear.

All football fans are dreamers and after our years of suffering we all, at the very least, were cautiously optimistic of the takeover at first despite what some claim now.

I can't imagine he'll ever return after falling foul of the bunker abuse, I'd say it's a shame not because of his fame but because he's a fan like any of us. The sort of fan who's profile could really help the supporters trust if it ever gets going. I know that won't go down well because we all know he's in contact with Russ Green but think of the publicity he provides already.

He's already made it clear he doesn't like new members!

To be honest guys I am as much in the dark as anyone . I was told the new owners were football men with money to spend. I still hope they are but I would be lying if I said I knew anything either positive or negative about it. I do know the silence is deafening and the longer it goes on the more worrying it is. But none of the new owners has spoken to me since the day the takeover was announced.

I'm assuming you were told by Russ Green they were football men with money. I also assume you are still in contact with him. While I wouldn't expect you to publicise private conversations, have you been in contact lately?
There has to be a story behind this whole saga and while some of the conspiracies on here seem far fetched, there's too many coincidences for some of the rumours not to have substance.

I spoke to Ronnie and Russ after the defeat at Shrewsbury. But only about the team. Nothing about the politics. I should have asked but perhaps naively did not have that many doubts. If I get the chance again , I will be asking.

Jeff i liked your interview with the scunthorpe chairman on football saturday a few months back, you put your points across to him well but he came back with decent replies, good too see it from both sides. Have you ever tried anything like that with pools? IOR? TMH? Russ? ken? the boiler?

No - not been the need to until now. We do need some answers. Lots of them . Only positive is appointing Ronnie looks like a top move. At the risk of getting hammered I am pretty sure that was Russ.
What I don't understand is why the FL is saying nowt about TMH. Don't they owe it to all of us to let us know what is going on ? Whatever the position is we need to know NOW.

Damn right Jeff. There is a lot of grief flying about and some infighting. Ronnie Moore is doing a storming Lazarus act and will lift this team to 5th bottom (put money on it). IOR will see this season out but the worry is what then? Some don't like the question being asked but it needs to be.

Having a go are you for real?? If I wanted to have a go I would have worded it very differently. The day of the takeover I like most took to google to find out who Peter Harris was. A guy came up as 1 of the richest in the country basically a mega millionaire and I was ecstatic. Then as the dust settled this other Peter Harris gets interviewed and agony set in. Rumours began circulating that this was the Swindon/Hereford people. Jeff came on here and seemed posititve about them and put my mind at rest. The months went by and clearly there was problems. Then it was finally announced ior were still here. So I asked him. No malice intended unless your looking for some.

Jeff joined here and has posted regualaly as a fan. Like everyone else saying things will be questioned eventually. Just because any poster is famous shouldn't mean they can't be asked questions. Judging by his responses he wasn't offended at all. I have the upmost respect for everything Jeff does for pools on sky. On a weekly basis he bigs the club up and I cannot fault that.
