There's a great clip on a frasier episode where he delivers a brilliant speach in a meeting hammering everyone, he storms out slams the door n looks victorious.

He then realises he's forgot his briefcase n has to creep back in and retrieve it, spilling paper everywhere.

These guys who quit in a blaze of glory then come back are a bit like frasier.
