Would like to give a fans view/report, who played well/who didn,t, I listened to the whole game on DAB and it sounds like we played for the whole 90 minutes for a change.

I didn't go but can tell you that a draw is a shit result. I couldn't care less how we played if I'm honest.

2 good performances out of 3 and 4 points out of 9 is certainly and improvement. About as good as we can expect without getting another 2 or 3 good players in.

Why are people happy with a draw away at Tranmere. It's not enough, and have we really resorted to settling for a draw at a club third bottom of the English tier of football ?

The people happy about a point at Tranmere are largely the ones who think we'll stay up. Now, I'm no mathematician...

Maybe people NOT at Tranmere weren't able to witness signs of considerable improvement. The mire that we're in isn't Moore's fault. He is doing a good job and deserves support which without doubt the vast majority of fans there gave him. We were unlucky not to win but it shouldn't be forgotten, tranmere were actually trying to win aswell!
I read this board everyday, it's very entertaining and full of passionate people. Have to say though, the upbeat incredible support yesterday was very different to the doom and gloom here. No-one is under any illusion were probably going down but many many people have obviously decided they are going to stick with their club despite everything. Poolie til I die and all that.

I dont think people are happy with the result. I think theyre happy with the performance, which by the sounds of it was very, very good.

It was a vastly improved performance, one full of effort, commitment and fight. Yes a draw isn't enough and we probably are going down but there are plenty of people who will refuse to see the positive in anything. It's always quiet in here when we gain a point or three.

No, let's just enjoy in wallowing in doom and gloom and complaining bitterly over things we have no control over what so ever.

Can't think of anything to be cheerful about. The new owners are as silent as the last ones (That's if Ken has even gone) The players on the pitch are a bag of shite. We're nine points from safety with no investment looking lightly.

Don't worry though Russ will sort us out and get us promoted next season stpid

Didn't say I was cheerful or that I think things at the club are well. I was happy with the way the team played yesterday and we should have won. It's virtually nailed on we are relegated but the performance and the support yesterday just reaffirmed that I actually do love my football club, not the people running it, but the entity that is HUFC. The only thing I can do is support the players on the pitch on the day, I can't affect anything else. After watching so much dross for the last 5 years yesterday was a rare and enjoyable away day. Shame we couldn't grab the second but blind hope is all we have left.

People might not agree but I think yesterday was probably our best performance of the season in terms of an all round display. There keeper made some good saves and a few just flashed wide. I don't honestly think we could have played that game better, just amazed we didn't get a second.

It was defiantly a bitter-sweet. Performance was spot on but with who we were playing and results around us going in our favour, its hard not to think that was our chance.

Woods knocked the ball around with ease, bates had his best game on a pools shirt and surprisingly offered a bit of drive going forward. Duckworth was on the front foot, jones and Harrison were solid against Odejayi. The front three always caused problems, the way Fenwick was playing and the confidence from his goal I thought he'd get another so his injury hurt us. Bingham was bright and Franks was bright but didn't really have an end product as per usual.

A few balls not cut so far back or a player hanging on the edge of the area; a bit more belief when shooting to get them on target or a worse keeper for woods' stunning early effort and we'd have won without a doubt.

Ultimately a get out of jail free card for Tranmere but with the players we have, I don't honestly think they could have played better baring being more clinical.

A solid performance, the better team, played for 90 minutes for a change and should have won.

Woods was standout player for me - best game by far in a pools shirt. Loads of great runs and energy. Supported well by Tsibola who also had a fine game but just lacked composure when in goalscoring positions. Bates in the holding role; did Ok but not spectatcular.

It was interesting that he played Fenwick wide left instaed of compton with Bingham down the middle and Franks wide right. I thought fenwick did well before his injury; held the ball up well and scored a good goal. Bingham was a threat throughout with his pace and trickery while Franks did quite well but seemed to tire.

Centrebacks and goalie were solid enough, Austin did Ok but it was good to see Duckworth bombing forward. He had some great runs but was however at fault for the goal when he fell asleep and failed to mark the winger when a quick throw-in was taken.

Harewood came on for Fenwick and played on the left but did swap with Bingham for a while. Worked hard but lacked composure and quality in the box.
So in summary plenty of endeavour throughout and skill at times. If Fenwick hadn't gone off I think we would have won. Fans were brilliant, singing from start to finish.

Totally agree with Kirsty..if Fenwick had stayed on we would have won.

the Fans..incredible....for a bottom of the League side just mind blowing vocally and in numbers.

It was great atmosphere, the pools fans were singing all the match, getting behind the team, we played well, best we have played all season, unlucky not to get the second goal.
