The Winter Pool League Presentation Evening takes place in the Corner Flag on Sunday 8th. February, from 7pm onwards. Entertainment provided by a new band called Mustard Saints. There is a cover charge of £1 which will be donated to Macmillan Nurses.
A reminder that the Corner Flag is open every Friday night from 7 until 11 and before and after every home game.
The lounge in the Corner Flag is available for functions free of charge.

The winter league is run properly by alan doyle unlike the summer league which is run by a corrupt committee!

No offence but exactly how corrupt can the Hartleppol summer pool league be?

Basically the summer league which starts in 3 weeks is capped at 36 teams 3 divisions of 12.
My team was accepted into the league at the registratjon meeting as where another 30 teams.A message was posted on the pool website facebook page the next day.
After the registration meeting last night we have 31 teams paid and entered.The league is capped at 36 teams and we still have 4 well establishedteams yet to put there sheets in.
So dont delay! Once we,re FULL we,re full!!!
a day later a 37th team got into the league and my team was kicked out.

I,ve phoned and texted the league secretary but getting no reply.
We putting an appeal in at the next meeting but hopefully something can get sorted before then.
The easiest solution to keep everybody happy would be to have 13 teams in div two quite easy to work in 2 extra fixtures over a 9 month season.

As it stands now the response from the league is a bit like getting answers from TMH the silence is deafening!
