...until protests are being organised against the new owners?
Even ignoring rumours, signs aren't good.

None of the promises have been met, what have they done to get the fans more involved again? A few cheaper games?
Communication has arguably been less forthcoming than under IOR. At least IOR said no futher comment will be made at the end of their statements. The current lot don't say anything!
We've got an experienced manager desperate to sign players, if money was there people surely would come. We were shite when we signed Jones and Freestone and I'm pretty sure the location/weather was the same back then.

Watching Cambridge on TV, who were relegated and had financial problems, it took them 9 years to get back into league football. That sounds awful but listening to their fans it sounds like they're in a much better position now and they're positive for the future. Maybe playing in the conference for a while would encourage fans to try to take control of their club should the opportunity arise. The club no longer has the community feel it once had, even before the promotions IOR brought us.

Protests? Really? The new owners have not been in 5 minutes! Whilst the pain of being relegated is awful and pretty much inevitable, you can hardly blame the new owners. A protest would do nothing. We need to pull together. Anyone expecting miracles has played way too much FIFA/Pro Evo. Look to next season and rebuild, it's the only sensible option and I couldn't blame the owners if that's what they're doing.

They've been in over a month and changed precisely nothing.

When IOR took over and we needed players, they got players.

There's really something not right about the new owners and unfortunately only time will reveal what it is.

The fact that Ron Moore declined to comment on the situation with TMH during yesterdays press conference has served to heighten concerns. As usual the fans are being mushroomed instead of at least being advised of the issues that are causing the delay. Same old, same old HUFC as far as I can see - only the names have changed. Certainly no change from IOR in respect of shitting on the fans - maybe even worse. Shame on you Messrs Harris and Green.

The new owners have been here long enough to show there intentions.
They promised to back ronnie and interact with the fans.
The most optimistics fans think the funds are getting saved for the summer. The realists know otherwise!

There is little room for optimism, not till we beat Plymouth anyway ;)

Who seriously thinks funds are being kept for summer? The club will need to offset the loss of income after relegation so any increase in transfer/wage budget is highly unlikely...we have to stick to FFP remember.

They can't actually do very much yet, the 'fit and proper 'person' procedure hasn't been completed by the FA yet, not much point ploughing money in if they end up being told they can't actually take over.

I know I pointed out that the normal turnaround is 2 weeks but how long did it take for FA to process Cellino's test at Leeds? Seemed to go on for about a year.
As has been said, I think by yourself Chip, one person rumoured to have involvement in the constortium who own Pools also has previous links to Swindon Town. If he is involved or is suspected to be involved by the FA, expect the test to drag on and not with a positive conclusion.
Again this is only assumptions based on rumour but since the owners haven't been as open and clear as they said they would be the fans have nothing else to go off.

Well the protest forum was wisely kept open when IOR finally 'fucked off'.

If they hadn't passed the test and had a legitimate excuse for not spending, they would say so.

It's like Ken not blaming FFP.

When considering the fit and proper persons test I think we need to remember there attentions have been almost totally focussed on the Leeds situation. TMH haven't yet been called by the relative bodies for the case

Have they?
The 'relative bodies' being the FA would surely be able to cope with more than one application at a time. But for you to state that they 'haven't yet been called by the relative bodies' you obviously have a source within TMH/Pools or the FA.

Why wouldn't TMH say so?
