I've seen mention of this fella 5 or 6 times over the last couple of weeks, intimating that he was interested in taking over, but IOR chose TMH instead.

I just assumed when the original rumours surfaced that it was The Fail/Northern Echo doing what they do best...guessing and getting it wrong.

Did this fella ever have genuine interest in Pools or are people just getting the wrong end of the stick?

Everyone seems to assume so. But I think it was more he was approached to sort a deal for the club than the other way around? Either way, I don't see him riding in on a chariot and stopping us from being exiled to history.
