I'd play Daly and Porter and leave them in as a pair for the next three games.

I still reckon that Brown offers more at the moment as an impact player coming on against a tiring defence until he strengthens up a bit.

Tough one..............

I'd like to see Porter and Eiffion, Daly is always a good option to bring off the bench for last twenty minutes if need be.

Interesting. Eifion tends to have scoring streaks where he'll score in most matches over a 5-6 game period.
The only problem is getting the timing right!

P.S. if none of us can forget Big Jon's goal at Cardiff, how many remember Taff's?

No, it had completely slipped my mind.

My sentiments exactly playing Brown for too long too early could prove costly!1

apart from which Chelsea only need to pick one striker usually!

uh uh - hope Danny isn't reading - don't want him getting ideas!

i know i keep saying it but at some point wilson has to pick his attacking formation and starting personnel and stick with it. we are not chelsea and changing the formation and personnel every single game just isnt working. even if it involves daly he should just make a decision and stick with it for a run of games to let a partnership develop.

But these people train together day in day out, there should be a partnership already developed whoever is up front - well assuming we actually train with a BALL involved that is

That remark made me go and check up on something.
The longest run Daly has been given in Pools' first team is just FOUR starts.
The number of minutes he has sat on the bench must be second only to Jim Provett.
In fact the longest playing sequence he has had with Pools was 11 games playing for Bury!
When he has come on a sub it has generally been for less than 20 minutes, often for less than 10, and sometimes for less than one!

So you're right. If he's going to be given a run then FFS let's give him a bloody run. His goals per minute last season can't have been that much worse (if any) than any of our other strikers.
