Replacement for Sh**rer picture

Hopefully its gone for good, but what/who should replace it? My vote would be for a long-serving quality player like Honour/Porter etc (too many to type).

Kenny Johnson..............put his whole football life into Pools in one way or another.
Then there's HH and CK if you want non playing gadgies, to which you could add Paul Mullen and Frankie Baggs, stalwarts of the club both.

What about some of the old school? the likes of Watty Moore, Leo Hardin, Willie Waddle, Barry Watling. Alan Goad, Malcolm Dawes.

For me it's got to be Joe Allon - celebrating in the promotion season.

(i) for being one of our best strikers

(ii) for speaking out against Ken and IOR in the Sunday Sun and continually supporting us.

That Beardsley photo where Pete is in shirt and tie looking directly into camera....with his jacket over his shoulder. He wasn't with us for long....but what memories. For you younger Poolie chums, Peter Beardsley was an ex England player who graced Vic Park for a few glorious months prior to his retirement.
