You're just being silly now ...... you have none of the qualities required of a super fan...the smug self belief, the irritating superiority complex that won't be hidden, the ability to seamlessly adapt to any situation no matter how bad and defend the indefensible,,,,, and not forgetting the Uriah Heep attitude to those in charge..... you possess none of those traits...you spawny get.

Of course I was referring to SUPER fans, fans that knew what was required, how to do it, and who to target.

Not superfans, who just seem to know how to suck whatever they need to.

I trust the SUPER fans are aware of that difference.

Hmmm so I come in peace and remind everyone that despite all of the differences in opinion we are all still Poolies and yet I continue to be the villain in all of this!

I repeat for those who did not quite understand - I thought IOR were fantastic for the first 10+ years. Took us to heights we had never imagined. For the last 2/3 years I have been increasingly concerned. I have posted on here that if they no longer had any ambition for the club then they should go. I have never been a "fan" of Hodcroft - the lack of communication with fans and the way he ruled as a mini dictator got on my tits just as much as anyone elses.

However, I have continued to support the team (and my God that hasn't been easy this last couple of years).
I did not and do not believe that the approach taken by most on here to get IOR out was the right one. My concern was that they could just walk and leave nothing in place except debt. That would have been in no ones interest.

I will finish by saying that I am delighted Russ Green is staying put. He is totally committed to this club (despite what some might thing). Yes mistakes have been made - some by Russ BUT the person behind all of this has been his employer Hodcroft. I see when Jeff Stelling tried to point out Greens part in the takeover he was not lambasted as I would have been had I said the same thing.

If people want to keep on ridiculing me, abusing me and generally having a laugh at my expense that's fine. I suspect (in fact know) there are many like me, the only difference is that they don't bother posting on here.

I will still be in the Centenary Lounge - and in the Victoria lounge after the game, as usual. If you do want to say hello then fair do's. If not then that is totally up to you.

my names Brian and so is my wifes.

I wont respond to your post, here, other than to say, I take it you cant find it within you to praise those fans.

Shame on you. Shame shame shame.

I suspect he believes his policy of crossing his fingers and writing endless pleading letters to Santa is what did the trick..... and not those pesky fans complaining, getting off their collective arses and forcing the issue....( in his world)

Seeing as plans were being put in place before those pesky fans really started complaining the yes!

:angry-screaming: The writing was already on the wall - it was clear that IOR were looking for a way out. But to go without something else in place would have been sheer folly! That is where my gripe was. :angry-screaming: :angry-screaming:

Oh and by the way I really don't believe in Santa!

That's true Chip - though I do think IOR were looking for a way out but Murray might have still been here, even if he was probably out of his depth with the dire situation wee are in.

I will just add again that I DID leave my seat and go behind the stand when the idea of a walk out was planned. If I really was such a huge fan of KH and believed he could do no wrong then I would not have done this. I wasn't an advocate of some of the other suggestions being mooted on here but the fact that I did do something shows I may not be the total club man that some suggest. :shhh: :shhh:

I guess that until the Football League approve the new owners IOR still have some involvement in the ownership of the club. The take over could even be reversed if approval is not forthcoming. It would be a pretty poor lawyer that didn't make some provision for this in the take over documents.
