Stop complaining - what do you expect them to do when they get an all ticket match sprung on them.

If it was a free for all there still would be sob stories from people who didn't get a ticket. At least they have tried to do something so that regular attenders can get tickets. A free for all just means any 'lovely lovely person' can go..........

There is not a perfect system to please everyone. When there was a free for all for the Darlo play off games years ago HUFC got a lot of criticism. At least they are trying to make sure that a fair proportion of loyal fans will get tickets.

I don't see the logic in asking for ticket stubs that people didn't know they had to save or dragging the process out over a week but when tickets are limited its far better that season ticket holders and regular attenders get the tickets than part timers......

Jonny I can accept not getting a ticket in a free-for-all.
Not the way they've done this I can't.
It is an A-W-A-Y match.
WTF does having a season ticket have to do with who has A-T-T-E-N-D-ED away matches????

I'm in both camps here parmo. I understand why season ticket holders should get priority as they get very little benefits but at the same time why should people who only went to Darlo get priority. It's impossible to keep everyone happy but to be honest I find it hard to begrudge anyone priority for away tickets after they stumped up 350 quid just weeks after the shit that was served up last season

this is only the second time in over twenty years I haven't had a season ticket!!!!!!! rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage
Someone who is on their first or second season ticket gets in first!!! Work commitments mean I have to wheel and deal to get to home matches, and as it's turned out, I've only missed one!!!!!So I might as well have got one, but it's too late now!!!!

Season ticket holders should always get priority (and for the record I'm not one as I also can't guarentee attendence at every game) simply because they fund the club during the summer months and as another poster mentions they don't get much for their one or two games free. I appreciate and applaud your attentdance of away games but at the end of the day pools don't get that money. When it comes down to it season ticket holders should always get priority as a reward for putting their cash up front.

However god knows why they couldn't have just let season ticket holders have a day to buy them and then put them on general sale. And why are they going on sale MONDAY!!! The club is receiving them by thursday LUNCHTIME (see official rochdale site).

Their commercial priority is to sell Notts Co tickets on Friday and the ticket office will no doubt be closed on Saturday/Sunday cos we don't have a match. Hence the Monday start. They have never thought of asking staff to work Saturday/Sunday and have Thursday/Friday off which would be quite sensible since all Brizzle tickets will have been sold by then.

AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! Away fans aren't as important then??
So if nobody travelled away, the team wouldn't be arsed to get the wins it has done, so we wouldn't be playing for the title, so we wouldn't be getting sell-out home crowds!!! Of course the away followings ultimately help to generate money for the club!!!! GO ON - CONTRADICT THAT!!!!
Doesn't anybody get this?? banghead banghead

Parmo - You are prattling on about your own situation when there will be very few people in your boat. It will be unfortinute for you if you miss out but at least the ticket will go to a genuine Pools supporter of some sort.

You are suggesting a free for all where many more loyal Pools fans would lose out on getting a ticket.......

fans that travel to away games are JUST as important to pools as the fans who only go to home matches, after all they're showing their support for the club by being there, regardless of whereabouts in the country it is!!

Season ticket holders should only have priority for home games, and I've been a ST holder for most of my adult life. I will not agree with how they've done this at all, whether I get a ticket or not. It would have been a steady stream of sales IMO with people most determined to get one, getting one (i.e. the likes of the die-hards).
Who is going to reimburse me my train expenses then if I don't get tickets??
We will just have to agree to differ on this, but I think even you must admit the majority of people on here have sided with what I'm saying.

Well season ticket holders have already bought tickets for all the home games haven't they, so I'm wondering which home games you think they should get priority for?

What about the die hards who ave to work etc? How are they supposed to queue all day to get a match ticket with such short notice? No matter what HUFC do there will always be genuine fans who miss out. I am sympathetic about your situation with train tickets but when you bought them you were not guaenteed a ticket to the match.

I hope you get a ticket and I am sure you will but a free for all is a non starter.....

i think parmo means home games like all ticket cup ties, play-off games and such like, which are not covered by a season ticket

Leicester Poolie summed it up perfectly, where were the glory boys when we were in the trenches last season at MK/Brentford etc????
Jonny you are WRONG WRONG WRONG on this boy!!!!!
A lot of people who plan their budget maybe intend on only going to home fixtures all season, so they get a season ticket. Then they can decide to jump on the away bandwaggon at the first opportunity like this!!!!
I had planned to go to Rochdale for months, if tickets had been on sale I would already have had one!!!!
People who plan to go to every game home and away, generally speaking have to wait until they've earned the cash to go to each game as it happens - so no season ticket for them!!! Attending away games costs me, our lass and the bairn thousands of pounds a year, much more than three season tickets and not travelling away. We pay into every home game as well. The away support a club like ours gets is VITAL!!! Imagine how the lads would have felt on Saturday running out to a thousand away fans!!!! Or 400 at Torquay!! Or 600 at Swindon etc etc!!!!!

Parmo - There are many season ticket holders who also travel to lots of away games, as do any stub holders.

I really hope you get a ticket and I am sure you will. You are entitled to your opinion about my views but unfortinutly for you the club hasn't taylor made a criteria to fit your own specific needs. I apreciate that you spend a lot of money following Pools but many season ticket holders only buy season tickets for perks such as priority with tickets. Are they really going to want to piss off 2000 season ticket holders to keep a few exiles happy?

And as the powers that be at HUFC make the rules it is actually irrelevent whether we all agree with them or not. Its tough titty what anyone thinks - plus they will use a similar criteria if tickets are limited in availability next season - its almost guarenteed......

Is it only me or does everyone lose interest as soon as 'you are entitled to your opinion' rears it's ugly head.

It's almost as despair-inducing as 'I pay my money and I'm entitled to my say.'

This is the board where we substitute 'don't talk bollocks you daft get' for that sort of malarkey.

Clean your act up, for ferks sake.
