John, I seem to remember it being scored in the Town End, though I wouldn't put money on it. At the time it was scored I am pretty sure I was walking along the Mill House side of the ground going from one end to the other. Those were the days.

As I said John, I wouldn't put money on it being the Town End though I seem to remember it being so, it may have been the Rink End. I was changing ends so didn't see all the build up though your description of the goal seems match my memory of it, I think he may have lobbed the keeper.

I am certain though, that the goal from the game I linked to was 13 second into the first half.

I remember that game Elvis, 4-0 Poskett hat trick!!! 76/77!!! About the only time that season we scored more than one goal in a game!!!!
