Relegated yesterday, first confirmed division change. Dunno about that one, they were bloody awful with Martin Allen in charge, when we got relelgated and needed a win down there we had two off with head injuries. Their fans were always alright though when I've been.

Ah well we won't be playing them anyway will we??

Anyone remember the 20 twats in the Brentford end who watched us the whole game instead of the match taking the piss as we were going down??!!

I've always preferred to drive the near 500 mile return journey to Hartlepool than the 100 mile return journey to Brentford - that North Circular Road on a Saturday is a disgrace. Been in the play offs the past 2 years under Martin Allen & now relegated, the writing was on the wall for them as they sold their better players at the end of last season.
One of my favourite authors - Robert Rankin supports them, when I met him a few years back I was wearing a Pools home top & we had a good talk about football in the lower leagues. He is also a fan of Captain Beefheart so I'm sorry for Robert.
