The Falklands War - Back To The Front with Michael Nicholson!!!! :sweeeet:

Should be very interesting and will be the first Documentary I've seen during the 25th Anniversary....I never watched the one with Carol Thatcher cos I can't stand the short tongued slut!!!! :evil:

I expect Mr.I to be watching!!!! :sweeeet:

Indeed I will although I'm almost Falklanded out, I've been watching BBC Parliment all night where they have re run all of the relevant bits of question time programmes of the day.

It's been presented by Brian Hanrahan from whom I found out more of what was going on at the time in the bigger picture than I did from our own senior officers.

Aye, watched it. It was a very well made documentary and highly accurate. The one thing he missed out is that more people have died by suicide since the war than were killed in it. This applies to both sides.

Vietnam had a suicide problem but not to anyway near the extent of the Falklands (in % terms) I think you are confusing the vstatistics about PTSD in general.

There's one on ITV 4 at 9pm aswell....'A Soldiers Story....but I'll have to miss it cos our lass is watching Crimewatch and I'm taping the one on BBC 2!!!! banghead
