Darlingtons game against Hartlepool United this Sunday will be officated by Richard Beeby.

The Nottinghampshire based official normally plies his trade in the Championship but has taken charge of a few league two games this season. He has dished out 24 yellow cards and 1 red so far with Lewis Guy of Doncaster being the man sent off. He has also awarded 3 penalties.

Former Premiership referee Jeff Winter said "He is a very experienced Ref who is always near the top of the marks, I must admit I am very surprised the game has not gone to a Premier League ref, but this guy has never been given a chance at that level."

Can't say I've heard too much about him.

Comments?

Probably the fact we haven't heard much of him is a good sign, but clattenberg in the first derby was the best ref we have had all season by a distance I wouldn't have minded him again.

Wouldn't disagree with that. Seems to me as long as this ref doesn't favour the underdogs he should be ok

I think Michael Jones (vs. Rochdale at home in the FA Cup) was the best.
