I'm fully aware that the Welsh have a few less to choose from, but can someone please explain to me how Mr Llewelyn (not good enough to get into Pools reserves, in my opinion) has today got another international call up?

We should start a petition for Effion!

Didn't he do the same while playing for us?

He did indeed, a needless horrible tackle on the half way line.

Second time he's been sent off this season too.

Surely Wales won't be desparate enough to call him up every week if Wrexham get relegated this year...

Eifions problem is that he's up against Craig Bellamy, John Hartson, Ryan Giggs etc so he's struggling.

Mind with Llewellyn behind him he'd never get the ball anyway.

But Llewellyn is picked as a forward. Along with Jermaine Easter.

It says more about Welsh football than it does about those two gutless wonders!

Quite a lot if you only have shite players to choose from if your the manager of Wales, you'll always pick a 20 goal a season player over a 3 goal a season player surely...? . It's open to debate whether Efion should be in the Pools team never mind an internationall, all be it Wales have a shite team.....

After re-reading the thread I think the whole thing has gone off on a tangent.

Seeing as we're a fair and unbiased lot, shall we just conclude that the whole current Pools team is total class and any other player who has ever played for or against Pools is utter shite?!

i only mentioned the fact that easter scores boatloads of goals as he is a striker and thats what they are meant to do. someone will look at that and call him up, wheras effy wont get a look in until he starts scoring regularly. its not like wales will have scouts at every game involving a welsh player. particularly games in hartlepool.

last time effy got a call up was when we were in with a shout of promotion and he was knocking a few in.

the only possible explanation for llewellyn being selected is that he plays for a welsh team, and so gets seen by welsh officials on a regular basis.

How do the guide dogs let the owner know how lllyyyyeeeeeunnnwyyynnnn played?
