Here are my views for what they are worth (probably nowt  )

Dimi 7 Not a lot to do but looked to have got some confidence back with his handling and collecting crosses

D Williams 8 Another excellent, battling performance, not afraid to get stuck in or get forward supporting the wide men.

Nels 8 One word IMMENSE

Liddle 8 I was impressed with how calm he was on the ball for a player of his age, read the game well and gor stuck in (My MOM)

Brackstone 5 Reckless for the red card and his distribution was awful

E Williams 5 Annonymous for most of the game

Boland 7 Cracking debut topped off with an excellent ball for Daly to score

Robson 5 Why is it he does the hard things well but the easy things he cocks up, crossing was abysmel

Sweeney 7 With Boland in the team he showed glimpses of getting back to his best and he took his goal well

Brown 7 Tireless effort, with a bit more luck would have had his name on the scoresheet

Porter 7 Another one who worked hard all game had a couple of chances which a confident Joel Porter would have buried

SUBS

Maidens 6 Tried to get involved but didn't get much of a chance to impress because of the red card.

Daly 7.5 This is what we probably bought him for, battled hard and took his goal well.

Humps 6 Not much time to do owt

Agree except

I would have made Sweeney an 8 (if only for thet awesome goal)

Ritchie 4 - came on, did virtually nothing & what he did do was generally wrong

Maybe - but for a player who has just been dropped having had a run of goodness knows how many consecutive starts & who is rumoured to be REALLY unhappy about that, I was unimpressed

Now I like Ritchie - you know that - but he singularly failed to impress me last night - I expected more under the circumstances

Dimi- 6- average, nowt wrong but nowt exceptional
D Williams- 7- solid without being spectacular
Brackstone- 6- would have been a 7 except for the red card
Nelson- 7- solid but still soft as muck. Just cos he is big and bald people seem to think that he is a hard centre half.
Liddle- 6- not impressed me yet and hasn't convinced me that he is even as good as Ben Clark never mind better.
E Williams- 6- average at best
Bolland- 9- star man for me. Solid presence in front of the back four, quietly breaking up their play and his distribution was quality. Allowed Sweeney to play his natural game.
Sweeney- 8- back to what he does best getting up and down the pitch without having to look over his shoulder, no doubt helped by the presence of Bolland sat behind him
Robson- 7- his pace can frighten defences, given a run on the left wing he will get better and better.
Porter- 6- not one of his best games, he hasn't had one of those since his injury. Suggestions from some that he's no good without Boyd, I prefer to think that he just needs a few more games to get back to his best after a long time out.
Brown- 6- a few nice touches but not got the physical strength to play from the start yet, would be much more effective coming off the bench for the last twenty against a tiring defence.

Subs;
Daly- 8- did everything anybody could ask of him. won it in the air, held it up, distributed well, chased lost causes and scored a well taken goal. I'd start him next week instead of Brown.
Humphreys- 6- average but did nothing wrong, can't get with making him this year's escape goat already.
Maidens- 6- worked hard to cover our lack of numbers, has the potential to be a good player.
