We will frustrate the fook out of you and be dangerous on the break. Could go either way but I suspect you may just edge it. We do play football!

Hereford United Football Club was formed by the amalgamation of two local sides, St Martins and RAOC in June 1924.
The newly formed Hereford United played its first ever competitive fixture on August 30th 1924, losing 2-3 to Atherstone Town in the Birmingham Combination League.

OH MY GOD WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO????????

I'm sure the leaky sieve that is Konstantopolos, Barron, Nelson, Clark and Humphreys will have to be coaxed out of the cupboard under the stairs to face the danger.

Away record: P 16 W5 D4 L7 F19 A 25.

I don't think the world will be smouldering at 5pm on Saturday. stupid

Ah yes, tonked...that rings a bell! I'm sure we were told that by Lincoln, Swindon, Stockport, Notts and MK Dongs before we beat them in their back yards. This will be no easy game for you. In fact, we may beat you.

If we lose I will be on here to offer my congratulations the following morning. If we win I predict a shower of posts claiming we were the worst team you've played all season. Isn't life wonderful ;)

You underestimate us Mr Ciderhead, we are the thinking mans footy fans on here. And after all, it's not us who turned up in your backyard shouting the odds is it?? Well, yours is full of rotting apples innit?? What will you do when Magners puts Bulmers out of business and you all have to work in the Welsh Tourist Office call-centre?? Anyway I digress, reputations mean nothing come kick off and I won't list who we've got three points off recently, well, there isn't room. We'll lose sooner or later but my water isn't telling me it's this week.

Hereford, they 'beat' Newcastle on a ploughed field at an angle most 4x4's would have second thoughts about ..... and have lived on the tale evr since. Now we have this voice in the wilderness....Mr Cowpat.... giving us the dubious benefit of his amassed 'wisdom' over the superhuman capabilities of his footballing team, which leads me to ask, ....if they're so good why aren't we second in the table behind them...?

I would hardly call it shouting the odds.

See you all tomorrow.

I've always had a soft spot for Hereford.

I spent some time there in the 80's and had many a great night out there but going further back just after Hereford came into the league, we had a fire in the dressing rooms and we were too skint to replace the kits. We were ignored by Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough and borrowed the kit of the local fire brigade. Hereford United on the other hand sent us a complete set of new home and away strips.

Bulmers was sold to Scottish and Newcastle some time ago and in any case the cider they manufacture is no-where near the best in Hereford. Most of the Bulmers shite is produced to sell in northern outlets where they don't know any better. Maybe you would like a drop of THE REAL CIDER donated by a REAL HUFC fan?

ExLandlord ;)
