Right I bought an ipod around 6 weeks ago.
Ipod classic 3rd generation 15gb.
I then got a cable & put a couple of tunes on it & all was tippity toppity.
I then connected it to the computer to recharge & the battery fully drained,since then I havent been able to get it turned back on.
Ive tried hooking it up to the computer
Ive tried on a docking station
Ive tried with a mains charger

Anyone heeeeeelp !!!!!!

Sounds like the battery is Dead....send it off to get a new one fitted!!!! :grin: :grin:

Daughter got ipod touch for her birthday 3 weeks ago still trying to get apps on it from itunes . itunes wont let me login . tried 20 times !!
got to the point where i could chuck it out the window!

anyone know what else i can do to get this bloody thing to work properly.

When I had an Ipod nano the same thing happened, there is nothing wrong with it - it just needs a master reset.

If you are still unable to reset your iPod, use only one finger from one hand to press the Center (Select) button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Menu button.

That's how I reset mine...
