I wonder why somebody from the commercial department at Pools hasn`t approached the manager at the grange to ask about putting some shirts and paraphanalia in one of the 20 odd empty units or a short term freebie to see how it goes jobby!

You know how chavs like to kit their offspring in sporty gear, surely there is an opportunity to capture some floating voters?

I would even work there for nowt and do a cockney market stylee " Get yer kit on laydees, only a score" rolf

I might be wrong here but I believe that the owners of the shopping centre charge an absolute farking furtune in rent. The rates would cripple Bill Gates too.

You would think so but I'm told they are pretty immovable. Worth a try though surely.

To make it a bit more appealing to people and get them through the doors they could also sell shoes, pasties and have a pound corner

Don't think it'd be worth their time unless the rent was free.
They'd have to sell a lot of gear to cover extra costs, rent, power, rates, staff etc
Just wouldn't stack up for the 'extra' sales they'd get.

They'd sell 3000 shirts overnight if we got Man Utd away in the 3rd Round of the Carling Cup.
