Presuming CT did leave on bad terms with KH, does anyone think KH may suddenly give the new manager an extra nice transfer kitty to rub CTs face in it or am i being over optimistic?

Over optimistic I think, it sounds like there is no money to be played with at all.

Aye I agree thats how it sounds but it may be a case of we have to offer a potential new manager some money for them to take on the job. A lot more attractive job if you are able to bring players in to make it your own squad.

Have to agree with TPP, if there had been any money then surely Turner would have had use of it prior to any possible fall out.

The 3 signings were made late and all after trials.

There may be some come January, if we can put a Cup run together, but I wouldn't expect any body coming in, before then even when the so called "emergency loan" window opens. Unless some go out in that or we get a bad run of injuries/suspensions. Even then I would think it be young ones, who wont cost much, even if they subsidised by parent club.

And reading Hodcroft in mail last night he said Wadsworth had the next 5 games, so transfer window will be well shut by then.

So it's January even if manager changes and only with that cup run, in my opinion.

I can't see much being spent on new players this season, a few loan players perhaps, but we are lumbered with some below average player who are in the final year of their contracts

Hopefully at the end of this season we will have quality rather then quantity

do we need a shedload of money and loads of hangers on ?

if you look at the squad we had when we got to cardiff,

http://www.inthemadcrowd.co.uk/cgi-bin/ ... 05&level=1

was it that much stronger than the one we have now ?

what we desperately needed was some confidence, organisation, tactical acumen, and a bloke running the gaff that had a winning mentality. instead of bleating about lack of investment and spouting shyte about needing a miracle to stay up, we now have a manager that gets on with the job of telling the players we already have, that they are good enough.

4 games under wadsworth, we have 3 clean sheets, 2 wins, and 2 draws. we have gone to a place we got butchered 4 months ago, and pissed it.

as i said the other day, fans need to forget about whats happened with turner, and get the fook behind wadsworth and the team. if we all pull in the right direction who knows what we can achieve.

what more needs to be added? Couldn't have put it any better to sum up my own feelings about Pools
