Duffy is one of those players who a lot of people don't like because he dared go to a better team who were offering him more money at a higher standard. I'd have him back in a flash, am fairly sure we'd be sitting on 3 points right now if he had played on Saturday given the amount of chances we created.

Oh FFS, why are people so negative. He did fantastically well at Pools and theres no reason to suppose that he wouldn't do so again.

Long term loan to us might suit him. Looking at our forwards he would get a game every week unless his form collapsed. Lots of goals and he could showcase himself, if he still thinks he can go up a level, or earn a long term move to us on a decent contract. I think he'd be well worth the relatively small investment.

Would be nice to have some new blood, especially with a bit of pace but the noises I'm hearing say that no more in until some go out.
Unless the owners have a change of heart and allow more for wages etc we have to get along with what we've got I'm afraid.
Bigger crowds and/or a decent cup run could have an influence on loosening the purse strings but it looks as if the budget cloth has been cut to reflect the money supply.
