Jon Macken has signed 100 per cent and pools have been taken over and it was sorted on Wednesday but i dont know why it has not gone public yet. I'm not sure who by but im led to believe it is a company from Singapore BUT reading between the lines we are not gonna have millions to spend they are gonna run it much like IOR

Dont ask me to reveal who give me the information because i cant say but it is from within the club

I'll wait till it's confirmed that he has signed at the moment I'm in the no one has signed camp and that way I can't be disappointed that it yet another rumour/story/fantasy.

I`ll have you know Monsuier Fireball that I am a man of the cloth and believe whole heartedly the words of this young man, who when I let him up and removed the lighter from his hairy bean bag, did unto me utter those words!

If thier was a player, or just another rumour, the amount of times we have been told the players have been told this was going to happen, and the amount of days this has supposably been announced this was just another rumour which people believed.

As you all know Im as cynical as anybody but Ive just been speaking to someone who I would class as a very reputable source and its pretty much convinced me that the takover WILL happen, its just dragging on a bit due to dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

Apparently IOR are not cutting all ties to the club and will still have some involvement (so this may put people at ease who are worried about handing over the club to the other company). Hodcroft will have no involvement however.

ps, I dont care if you beleive it or not but im feeling optimistic (and it takes a lot for me to feel that  )

I heard that negotiations are progressing but KH is refusing to budge on a couple of fairly minor details.

the chairmans attitude could be completely different, maybe a more hands on, friendly chairman. Nothing against KH, but he certainly shunned the limelight at every given opportunity.

Cor, Chip a nicely balanced post!

You know what will be will be, but if something does come off in the near future, I'm sure that after the commitment, effort and money etc invested into the club over the years, that the current board would not allow a change of ownership to take place if it didn't have confidence that the club would be ran on a similar steady footing.
