yes. apparently a huge cash investement is on its way, and once it arrives we will be signing championship quality players. or so the rumour goes on here.

then again the mail rubbished this claim, stated it was fanciful, and in mondays edition said we hadnt even had contract talks yet with horwood, the one outfield player we have been alleged to have attempted to sign.

basically it depends if you are a glass half full type peron or a glass half empty type person on what you believe.

personally i dont think even pools would be daft enough to go into the new season with last seasons squad that were one goal away from going down minus o'donovan, jones, clark, cherel etc.

they cant not make signings. it would be suicide.

Hang on we have just signed a new keeper who is going to be the next David Seaman.
We have also signed a new coach who's past achievements include taking Carlisle to the quarter finals of the Leyland Daf Trophy.
We are also attempting to sign a left back who comes from a town where the famous tall ships race is about to be held.
We are also going to do a Blackpool:)

It's all a bit quiet on the signings front after we were told a few weeks ago that there would be developments to wet our appetite. Now O'Donavan's gone who will lead the line. Will it be Boyd and Brown, Behan and Monkhouse or Larkin and Mackay. Also the defence needs strengthening. No recognised left back and desparately in need of a centre half. Collins is not strong enough to keep us in the top half of the table. Any thoughts?
