Bin lookin at stereos earlier & thinkin about one with Ipod docking carry on on it,but I dont have an Ipod & dont know much about em so if anyone can answer me a coupla questions I would be greatful.

1 - Can I just drag n drop tunes from my computer onto it just like I do with my old tesco MP3 player ?

2 - Do these docking station stereos work with every type of Ipod or just the new flashy video game & million app thingys ?

3 - Can I get an adaptor that lets me plug my old tesco MP3 player into one of those Ipod dock points ?

4 - How much should a bog standard prehistoric Ipod that does nowt but play MP3s cost me ?

Cheers

Probably not, but the stereo/dock should have a line input which will take a feed from your MP3 player

It won't have, the line in is the ipod dock. Unless to go higher up the range you're not going to find one.

My niece has the Sound 53 which is one up from this

but they both have 3.5mm jacks to allow connection from your MP3 player - it sounds great for such a small unit as well

I have this one and that has somewhere that you can plug in the 3.5mm jack lead

The thing about this panasonic is that I can easily pull out the power cord & take it into the garden so its exactly what I need apart from no 3.5mm jack.
If I get an ipod thats that problem solved though.

Ahhh righto - that Roberts thing really does sound good though - the 53's only 230 quid now and you can copy onto usb and sd from the radio/cd/ipod as well
