The disk drive on my laptop appears to just work when it wants too.

Basically it'll identify there is a cd in there when it's say a fillum or an album, but it wont pick up my footy manager disk or any other games or software or summit.

I've had a look online for updates but the computer has said it has the newest update.

Should i just take the fucker back to the shop and shout at the man?

How long you had it?
Is it still under warranty? If so, go shout at da Maaaan!
