Can I connect a laptop to my TV to watch something on BBC IPlayer????

If so....what lead do I need????

Yes is the short answer. Depending on your laptop you'll need either a yellow composite lead or a RS232 to composite/scart.

You'll also need an audio cable. One end will be like the plug on a set of earphones and the other will be red/white composite plugs.

lI suppose its theoretically possible but you'd still need a seperate audio lead. I've never seen such a cable though and I can envisage quite technical setup issues. Personally I'd go the RS232 route. You TV might even have a VGA input already built in.

I suppose USB to DVI connection is another alternative.

It's a big if unless your laptop is nearly new. They haven't been fitting them to laptops for long.
