He was there for ten years and then assisted Davey at Barnsley and then Loidland. Wonder if Davey will give him a bell once his feet are under the desk at Hereford? He wouldn't leave after a few days would he? He couldn't could he? That would be as unlikely as a fourth division team run by a slap headed criminal building a 25, 000 seater stadium equipped with heskeylators and a carvery and believing they might fill it.

That Davey quote can either mean one of two things:
1) He thought Darlo was a sinking ship.

Davey told the Evening Gazette: "While I was away in America I received a fantastic financial offer from a USA football company."

Doesn't look like Davey was telling Darlo the full story unless somebody said Hereford was in the wild west and he got confused, all that business with the bull might have looked like a rodeo. Seems unlikely but he did take the job at Darlo so he can't be too bright.
