Is it me or have both ITV and BBC hired more overpaid footballers to make idiotic mutterings about the WC? Also does it seems they have had to get more black players 'cos they're in SA? Black or white they all make as much sense as Rab C Nesbitt when he's been on a 3 day bender!

Totally agree, the only worse commentator is when ITV use David 'pervy' Pleat. Mainly for champion league games I think. BBC had Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave cover New Zealand v Slovakia match. It was such a dull match they ordered pizza in. Even with a gob full of pizza, they still made more sense than McCarthy.

I thought it was only me who couldn't understand a word Adebayor was saying but they were all saying the same thing on Mock the Week last night. Quite relieved actually, I thought I was going mad...

Good artical that. The pundits and commentators have been so bad and coupled with the vuvuzaelas that I havn't watch one game for the full 2 hour programme other than the first England game. It also wrangles with me that the likes of Shearer are supposed to be there promoting the beuatiful game when he is promoting getting smashed on 3 trays of booze from Morrisons. And another thing all the adverts are about getting pissed, betting your hard earned cash away and driving badly made cars that require a 7 year warranty. Hardly a resposinble combination.
