Pools agreed whether verbally or in writing to play Gateshead on the 24th July.

Looking at this another way, Billingham Town (according to Pools) agreed either verbally or in writing to pay so much a year for using their own ground. Pools have taken them to court for not keeping (alledgedly) their side of the deal.

Will Pools complain if Gateshead take them to court for backing out?

to be fair thats complete and utter rubbish and doesn't deserve an answer.

one was a legally (maybe ) binding agreement based on us spending over a hundred grand doing up a clubs pitch and the other was a friendly kick about between two teams.

The similarities are non existant

Pools have backed out of either a written or verbal agreement. Legal or not, the principle is the same. Gateshead could now lose out financially if they cant get similar opposition for the same date.

It'll also be a decent test for us, but don't let that get in the way of having a pop at Pools.

So now you want decent test's for us pre season, when you have been known to say

So previously you say they mean little but then say let's have decent tests pre season.

Surely you can't have it both ways.

Well that's just the whole argument blown then, isn't it?

They mean very little and it'll be a decent test.....its not a contradiction.

For someone who thinks they are HUFC's bestest ever supporter this is quite embarrasing for you.
