was a pretty good gig, bit patchy in places - bit like watching a rehearsal! - but overall pretty gooooood

madjohn heres the set they did - http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pavement/ ... 4dd34.html

ATP should be a belter I reckon, they should be on their game by then!

It was just a treat to see my favourite band play again, something I never thought would happen.
Thank God for Bob Nastovich's massive gambling debts!!!

Not quite as exciting, I know, Salty, but there's a folk day at the Headland on Sat.
You guys coming to do a family song again?

Talbot's always making excuses. I think it's just that he knows no shanties.

Yes I can an'all. People are nice to me over there.

Salty, I think it starts at the Cosmopolitan at 12, with a sea shanty competition.
I'll find out more and let you know.

PS The Cos is the pub on the corner near St Hilda's

I think you have to have written it yourself, mind. Have you written any sea shanties, Salty? If not you can choose one to-night and quickly change the words. They all have the same tunes, anyway.
