Now I've only seen a couple of games since the 'Turner' of the year.... ....but this Joe Gamble....

When he first came most people on here were gushing about him but now he's one of the first to be slagged off....along with the usual suspects that is!!!! confised

So what's happened to him....how come he's so shite now???? sctatchinghead

Do you reckon he'll come good after a Summer break and then a pre-season???? sctatchinghead

Your thoughts please cos I'm at a loss here to what's actually happened to him!!!! confised

I don't think he is shite, he had some really good games and looked a very good player but fitness came in to it. Turner even played him when he hadn't been training because of a hip injury. Gamble was even quoted that he was knackered and playing rubbish yet still got picked.

Give him a rest plus a full pre season and I reckon we have a decent player.

There is something fundamentally wrong with Turner's tactical brain. A player who is shackled into unnatural play will always look bad. The players on the books last season were potentially good enough for mid table.

Everything about that football club screams of bad management from the top down.

I think he is a quality player who just had a dip in form towards the end of the season, he did start very well which made his dip in form all the more noticeable. He'll be back to his best next season --- hopefully...

I've seen him play enough times to come to the conclusion that his form at the turn of the year wasn't a fluke....

I think both Behan & Gamble suffered from playing too much football, as they's already played a lot of games in Ireland before joining us. This combined with Turner's late response in actually resting them will have been a negative impact on them.

Hopefully next season will see they perform more like they should. Should Turner be replaced, I'd be even more convinced of it.
