Virgin Media, the cable TV company formerly known as NTL, today claimed its fastest quarterly customer growth since it merged with Virgin Mobile four years ago.

I wonder why!!! They claim its because of their wonderful customer service but Nagra3 does springs to mind.

End of May is my guess, majority of places have switched over now, not many nagra2 left.

Because when people are nicking stuff (which this essentially is) it puts the price up for the law abiding folk, whether this is telly that they're nicking or stuff from the Asda.

So if the people who think that they're smart for nicking are stopped from doing so then I'm pleased.

Are you suggesting that now the nicking has stopped, the prices will go down?

Highly unlikely, but they might not go up by as much.

That's a terrible analogy; the marginal cost for digital content is next to nowt so the actions of others will have little impact on what you pay. Doesn't mean it's right like!
