I am traveling to crawley, west sussex tomorrow for 10:00 from Huntingdon, was wanting a little help with the way to go as google maps gives me two options that are the same distance but both going different directions on M25.

1) M11 - M25 clockwise

Down the M11 (which can be a nightmare at 08:00-09:00 in morning) and round the M25 J27 - J7 clockwise

2) M1 - M25 anti clockwise

Was wanting to know what people who go on the M25 a lot thing is the best way at this time in the morning or are both a nightmare

Not the M11 at that time of morning.

so I guess the M1 - M25 way it is then,

I have travelled on the M11 to cambridge at that time in the morning and its always ram jammed.

I could just go the A1 passed stevenage and then anti-clockwise round the M25

Yes. A1 down to the M25, anti clockwise to the M23. There are some roadworks as you get on the M25 so give yourself an extra 30 -40 mins and hope there are no crashes ahead of you

Be out of the house by 0600h or be prepared for the possibility of being late.

As mentioned above, always better to set off early and arrive early as you can always find somewhere to sit and have a feed to kill time.
