Hi guys, i know that those bleeding grecians will probably survive but please do your bit and at least beat them on saturday and in doing so making us gulls fans very happy!!

Having made many trips to Hartlepool over the years i know what the journey is like and to have their fans miserable all the way back will be bliss. Normally there would be just a 100 or so but they have decent away support so probably will fill most of the away end.

If they do survive then they will have short trips to Plymouth, Bristol R, Yeovil, Southampton, Bournemouth and possibly Swindon whilst with us losing Bournemouth our local derby next year will be Cheltenham (130 miles away banghead ). So please at least try and help us have one short trip next year!

Cheers !

If we were going to do someone a favor, Brighton would be the last team on the list.

Good afternoon gentlemen.

I apologise for the intrusion in the pooliebunker of dazgull, or as he is known on Exeweb as "Banging Them Out".

We believed that he had been contained but it appears that he escaped to infest this board too. We will do all that we can to avoid this lapse happening again.

Come along BTO, have a lovely cup of tea and with this small pill you will begin to feel a lot better. Countdown is on soon and you can have fish and chips for tea. We know how much you gulls love fish.

Let's leave these nice people in peace, there's a good lad.

Bye all.

PS Hope to be back to collect 3 points on Saturday so that you can enjoy a lovely day out in Devon next season.

We like our feathered friends really.

Devon is a wonderful county. The skies are blue, the fields green and the two teams that play there are good neighbours.

its a beautiful part of the world, it really is. you should be thankful every day for having the good fortune to live there.

both exeter and torquay are great clubs with great fans that have stood by their team through thick and thin.

both clubs are among the best in the entire football league in terms of the hospitality afforded to away fans.

Amen to that.

I am NOT that person you mentioned and although occasionally look in on the exeweb forum have never registered on it, only registered on two Torquay ones and this. So as for thinking ive just registered here just to wind Exeter up i havent i have been on here for a while now and although rarely post do keep an eye on whats going on with the poolies as have had some great times up there and have enjoyed going out for a few pints with some poolies when they have come down here for a weekend away. Two of which came to wembley with us!

Yes its a lovely place down here but we still want the rivalry and dont want them to stay up and we are hardly going to be best buddies with them; how many of you would pop over to Darlo for a friendly cup of tea and chat "Oh bad luck old chap on relegation we will be rooting for you to come back".

Iyou have always got a trip to Plymouth next season for a change.... sadx

I have lived in desolate parts of the world and had some grim experiences and believe me I am thankful every day for being fortunate enough to live there now.

Both clubs have had their share of misfortune in recent years. For Exeter City, we have battled against the world just to survive and what the team and management have done to get us from the Conference into League 1 defies belief.

Even now, we are not able to get credit to help cash flow and have to survive on whatever income we can draw in.

We will banter and sing our songs against opponents because we love our football, our club and having a laugh. It's only a game but it's a wonderful life - as long as we stay up.

Now, about these three points ...

PS Dazgull - mistaking you for BTO is a disgraceful slur for which in humbly apologise.

Well i dont know the guy but as with forums with local clubs there are always a few idiots who talk absolute tripe. Nothing wrong with decent banter.....!!

If you do survive then it will be a great effort considering the restrictions your club has and if you can stay up there for another year then we will do our best to join you, if only we started getting results a month or two earlier!

I too have a soft spot for Exeter, apart from that great day when we qualified for the play offs, theres a little place just up the road from there called Lympstone and despite it being the location of some of my most painful moments, I have a certain fondness for it.

been to Exeter at least 10 times, been to Torquay a couple more than that
Can't beat a weekend away, and if Pools win as well it's the bollocks
Best weekend I've had in Devon was at Plymouth when Pools won 2-0, early kick off and a full day and night on the drink - jackpot!!!

Mr. I: Lympstone is a lovely village though surprisingly a lot of people have fond memories of the place - after leaving

Winning 2 - 0 in Plymouth and having the rest of the day to celebrate. Jackpot is spot on. That's what we hope to be doing next year.

If you do it again next year, come and celebrate in Exeter. You won't have to buy many drinks.

Agree with that Mr Parmo. Done Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth away, and although the night out in Exeter after that last day of the season match was outstanding it wasn't as good as the all-dayer in Plymouth after the lunchtime kick-off.
