deffo Watford for me as I have never seen pools play there. That said, i'd be surprised if many have seen pools play there as I don't think we played them since the 70's sctatchinghead

Watford. I've never been there and it's not chewy to get to like Palace. Selhurst is one of my least favourite grounds I've seen Pools play at.

Hillsborough is handy for not being far, and it would be nice to nark their fans again, but they're old hat.

Weve got too many long hauls as it is so I guess either Sheff Wed, Scunny or Preston.

I had a quick scan at the Sheffield Wednesday board last night and they all seem suicidal. They say their team is toothless and have no fight anyway. They've got the worst fixtures of all the bottom teams as well. Wednesday for me like, cocky 'big club' buggers.

I must be the only one not bothered about Sheff Wed, don't like going there as an away game either.

Glad Peterborough are down, always a good away day and even if we play them in January it'll be at least 23 degrees.

Two from Sheff Wed, Scunny, Preston, Derby and Barnsley to join Peterborough would be my choice, purely for the logistics of getting to the away games.

That would've been great and last August I was hoping it would happen.

Even a few weeks ago I was still hoping that Diddlesbrough would have a losing streak to see them into the bottom three!

Hope it wil be Plymouth an Scunny to join Peterboro with us next year rather than Sheff Wed to make the league a bit more even. Assuming Norwich, Leeds and Charlton go up that would leave just Southampton as the big fish out of water and others like Millwall, MK Dons, Huddersfield and Swindon having to go again which is often difficult.

You never know with a new manager at the helm and some turn over in the squad and a new lease of life for others we could be challenging for ........... mmmm midtable mediocrity.

deffo not scunny. palace would be good as loads of my mates support them, watford would be a new ground for me, but how funny would it be to see sheffield " we' ll never play you again " wednesday back in the third division ?

I said that to Mumtaz's Rucksack in the Clarendon yesterday after the match
bottom 3 for them now - shame Watford couldn't have held on

Perversely it's probably the one big club Turner would do his utmost to beat for a change

The bloke who used to live next door to me is a Sheffield Wednesday supporter and would give me a lift to the away game so that would do for me.

He was a bit full of himself when they got promoted so his embarrassment at giving me a lift to see Sheff Wed playing Pools would be worth it in itself.

I bet he reads this and tells me to get stuffed now.

Bye the way he hung a blue and white flag out of his upstairs window when they got promoted so he deserves what he gets.

I think Plymouth are as good as down so in addition to them and Peterborough I'd prefer Wednesday to come down.

That's part of my reasoning. Plus its a good day/night out in Sheffield. And its another northern team so less travelling.

He was winding up the resident Blades supporter. She hasn't taken revenge yet but I don't rate his chances in the long run.
