The midfield worked yesterday, with that set up we will get a few points away from home between now and the end of the season.

Humphreys (who was excellent) and Gamble (who was 1000% better than last week) broke up play and didn't allow Thornton to boss the game. It was only after Ritchie came off and Sweeney came on for an anonymous 20 minutes that we opened up and sat back. I'm glad they didn't score five minutes earlier to be honest or we could have ridiculously ended up hanging on in a game we'd cruised through. They missed a free header to make it 3-2. He should have brought Power on for Humphreys if he was going to make a change that would have been more like for like, I think Power had more touches in 2 minutes than Sweeney did in 20.

McSweeney is not the greatest footballer but he has a great engine and works hard for the team, he should always play away from home. Monkey seemed to enjoy playing on the right as well, so somehow finally he could have stumbled upon a formula that will see us win one or two more away games before the season is out. I reckon we can win at Wycombe and Walsall I wouldn't have said that before yesterday.

Chip suggested Power in the squad. I suggested playing O'Donovan with Bjornsonn (in a Keegan/Toshak stylee) and they both happened.
Turner obviously reads this board and is now letting us pick the team.
Brown to start please Tubby and replaced after an hour with Power or Sweeney, I'll let you choose.

No.......not Sweens, I like the lad, but we leave him out for the first time in a while and we're 3-0 up away.
