Just got back from the Orient. The London version that is.
Had a very enjoyable day in the company of Groovy and his cousin, EApoolie.
Oh and Mutley, some of your texts were hilarious.

Well we won and scored twice from set pieces. Two excellent corners from Humps and Joe Gamble, both finished in excellent fashion by Mr Liddle. Sandwiched in between was a cool finish from O'Donovan after an excellent run and cross from Monky.
We had chances to improve on our score but on one occasion a goal bound Monky scorcher was brilliantly tipped over by the O's keeper and a carbon copy run and cross from Monky was turned behind for a corner with the trigger about to be pulled.
Understandably the second half performance didn't match the first but hey how many 3-0 half time leads do we see???

I am not going to single anyone out either for praise or otherwise simply because they all did what we constantly ask them for............namely get stuck in.

If Leyton Orient don't produce a better standard in their remaining games, they are on their way out. They are seriously in trouble.
But lets not take anything away from our performance.

The only blot was a defensive mix up that denied us a clean sheet but every cloud has a siver lining. A certain person sat not too far from me had 3-1 to us @ 28-1..................very tasty. I am not going to tell Mr Mutley who that was but I'm sure he'll be demanding a jug or two from the lucky winner. Over to you to work out who, Mutters.

A good day out with a result for a change. Just reward for the away following who have had to watch defeat after defeat, some not deserved I may add.

Special mention to POK who was very animated and vocal.

These eight days are going to prove crucial in our fight for survival. Two performances like today's against Brighton and Wycombe should pay dividends.

Fingers crossed.
