...Monday,
Gillingham v Southend, Soton v Leyton O, Swindon v Tranmere, Yeovil v Leeds.
Tuesday night,
Hudders v Oldham.

First one I suppose a draw preferred?

Draw the first the rest to go our way on current form, well apart from Leeds.

Yeah them cancelling each other out would be good. You could argue the Yeovil v Leeds game is an irrelevance but home wins in all the other games would be sweet. Along with a home win at the Vic

A Pools win is paramount. Then as long as Gillingham don't win we have to be 4 points clear of bottom 4 then.

We win we can take a Southend win.

A win should on form ensure we move little further away from Orient and Tranmere as can't see them winning.

The important thing is that we get the results we need, we can't rely on other teams doing us favours. Still remember Elmo's cartoons from the Bizz, still available here: http://home.freeuk.net/pools/spring99.html

Specifically, the one that has Poolies cheering on Darlo... because we needed them to get a result against Scarborough....

A couple more wins might well be enough, hopefully there's enough confidence that will come from this result to get us those. I don't doubt that there's the ability there, they CAN pull clear, what they need is the belief and the application....
