Stay up but................ The brain is saying League 2 here we come.

I believed until this weekend that we would do enough to stay in this division for a club record 4 seasons, now I see Accrington (what a hell hole that place is for away fans), and Dagenham.

We need possibly 4 wins in our last 8 games, when truth is we've had 4 in the last 20.

4 since the start of the New Year, when we were supposed to show other's how good we were.

We laughing at our friends down the road, they've had 3 wins in last the 20, so shouldn't we be laughing at ourselves. They at least sacked Staunton which says they realised just how bad things are.

Just maybe everyone connected will have a reality check come 3 o'clock Saturday. When it's just possible we're further away from Oldham (who play Brentford at home on Tuesday) and possibly in the bottom 4 as Tranmere play Friday night(home to Norwich).

I can't see Tranmere winning but funny things happen in football.

20 games ago we were 6 pts clear of Brighton, 7 clear of Southampton and the 4th bottom spot. 9 clear of Wycombe and Stockport and 10 clear of Tranmere.

We're 1 clear of Tranmere now(and 4th bottom) 7 clear of Wycombe, even they've picked up more points but we've managed to get further away from Stockport and bottom.

They say one team always drops after Christmas , well this year it's 2 ,us and Southend who have picked up less points as us (14 over the 20 games to our 16.) they were level on points with us.

Lift to Accrington, anyone.

Three wins in 2010, it doesnt look good. Four points per month for the last three months banghead

Heart and head, we should get 13 points from the remaining games, if we dont we will get what we deserve. If we perform as we have been doing and get four points per month for the next two, April and May, we will be staring down the barrel of the league 2 gun taz

Luton will smash their way through the play offs on current form

Who do you fancy most to pick up their form at the right time? You tonked Southend a few weeks ago so theoretically it should be you. However southern clubs always seem to find something from somewhere to keep the north/south divide in their favour!

Aye but sadly Turner doesn't seem to want to play the team that beat Carlisle and Southend anymore. One defeat at Yeovil (which was always a possibility FFS! our record there is pants) has convinced him the current mish mash system is ultimately the way forward.

I thought we'd avoid the drop quite comfortably in the end after those two wins and given our run in. But my assumption was based on Turner picking our best team (i.e picking the same players and, crucially, playing them in the same positions as in the two home games mentioned above). Now he seems to have deemed that a busted flush I really don't know.

I feel the crux may lie in wait this weekend. Anything less than 4 points and I reckon the drop may well be nigh on unavoidable.

how he will be able to stand there in the face of such flak if we fail to pick up at least 3 points this weekend - will show whether the man really cares about the club or just himself

I thought he would have been sacked today - I'm fu-cking devastated he's in charge of MY club

I really hate the c-unt he'll never be successful so long as he's got a hole in his arse

The football league would probably arrange the game for a Tuesday night.
