I was on Newcastle Quayside sunday morning and my ten year old son spotted Alex McLeish and of course wanted to get his autograph,I was not sure how this would in down with him asking, as my lad had his Pools shirt on he did not need to Alex saw it and spoke to him on spotting it. He knew Pools had drew on friday, said he had an aunt and uncle in the town and other relatives in Peterlee. He wrote a nice person message on my boys postcard. Top bloke.
