Location: Rocks or Colliery?
I always wondered how Trimdon came to be made up of 4 seperate villages - Station, Village, Colliery and Grange?, and not just Trimdon as a whole.

he does post quite regularly.

just uses a different name.

try posting something racist or slate leicester university and he will reply.

"leicester uni is shyte, and is over run by darkies " usually works.

Or burning fossil fuel is the way forward

PS

I think it is anyway, can't beat a good bommy covered in petrol

Salty,

Tommy Armstrong, Tanfield Lad as I recall, wrote the original . Tommy is buried in Tanfield Village Cemetrey I think.

You might know he was known as the Pitman Poet & wrote a few songs/poems such as this one.

Durham Mining Museum has got loads of stuff about colliery disasters including this one.

Hope this helps.
