At the moment I'd rather remove my own eyes with a rusty spoon than watch Pools away.

I've got a season ticket and have been going to Pools home and away for over 20 years, but after that result on Saturday I have no desire whatsoever to waste £40+ watching them away on Friday night. I'd rather spend that money on something else at the moment, I have the right to a choice. I will be at Orient getting behind the team.

Have you really just said that I 'shouldn't bother' going to home games, who are you and how are you on the position to say that to anyone?

Fine. Of cause it's your choice but I get annoyed when people say "I'd rather remove my eyes with a rusty spoon than watch Pools away" and stuff like that. You could of just said I'm not going!

But you can always spend it on better things:)
I think I too would rather gouge out my eyes with rusty old spoons than go to Tranmere Friday.
Though I'm still thinking about going:)

I'll be there. My alternative is removing my eyes with a rusty spoon (metaphorically of course)

That's very nearly as good as parmo's 'We like the Moon' song, which I still listen to at random moments.
