"If referees did not give all these ridiculous set-pieces and just let the game flow then we would have drew 0-0 today. We were beaten again due to the referees incompetency.2-0 at half time is always a difficult scoreline and gave us no chance at all. The sending off of the yeovil player did us no favours either as their remaining ten men simply put in more effort. We could have done without that. Anyway, im off back to Hartlepool to have a nice cosy meeting with Uncle Ken to pick up my big fat paycheck and feed him all this bullshit for the umpteenth time this season."

Im sure it will be something like that anyway!

I was on to the fourth line of that before I realised it wasn't what he actually said today.

"We have to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down because we're fighting to stay in this division."

Im sure it was only a short while ago he was talking about a play-off push, then it became a midtable finish and now its a relegation scrap.

Don't panic i had a dream last night that we beat Tranmere 2-0 and they even missed a pen

So instead of putting your money on 20 teams each week on your coupons get it on that score

Have we ever won at Tranmere? I've been there a few times and can't remember us getting anything, bar the 2005 game when they battered us for 90 minutes and would have won 27-0 if ALB was between the sticks

I'll be at Tranmere willing the lads onto victory.

Defeat was always a very real possibilty yesterday, Yeovil are no mugs on their own patch, but to lose 4-0 is disappointing.

However the fact of the matter is that in two massive, recent home games against other teams who are struggling we recorded comfortable wins. I'm certainly more confident about staying up than I was a month ago.

Let's fooking go for it at Tranmere!

Yes. It's James in case you're wondering who I am.

I will get you a definite answer by tomorrow as I didn't realise we would be leaving at half 3. I don't anticipate any problems though.

the last time Pools won at Tranmere Barry Wardrobe scored the winner!! It was a pure fluke as well - we were on the terracing in front of the main stand, next to where the players came out
